What it's good for: proof-listening your emails, articles, and prompts (your ears catch errors your eyes miss), checking how AI-generated copy actually flows, and quick accessibility reading. Voices come from your operating system and browser, so the list differs on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS - some devices offer dozens, others just a few. Sentence highlighting uses per-sentence playback with speech boundary timing where the browser supports it; where it doesn't, playback still works without highlighting. Tip: if you hear nothing, check your system volume and try another voice - a few voices are silent for non-matching languages.
