- Status updates: a shared doc or channel post that everyone reads in 2 minutes beats a 30-minute round-robin. An AI summary of the week's tickets or commits can write most of it for you.

A common rule of thumb is salary x 1.25 to 1.4 to cover benefits, taxes, and overhead, then divide by about 2,080 working hours per year. A $100k salary is roughly $60-67/hour loaded.
