How the schedule works. Every card starts at a one-day interval. Answer it
well and the gap grows - one day, six days, then multiplied by an ease factor that rises
when a card is easy for you and falls when it is not. Answer badly and the interval resets
to one day while the ease factor stays lowered, so a card you keep failing keeps coming
back sooner than one you find easy. This is SM-2, the algorithm behind Anki. Everything is
computed and stored in your browser; signing in syncs the schedule across devices so a card
reviewed on your phone does not reappear on your laptop.
